How to stream live television from your dreambox to the internet:

As from today I have received several messages of a working version. These are both on Windows and Linux. With enigma1 and enigma2 dreambox versions. Finally we have a LIVE version. As of 13 feb 2008, we have a stable version. (13-02-2008)

Prerequisites

First, this howto is made for the Enigma2 version of the dreambox. These are Dreambox 7025 and 8000.
Second, you should have some knowledge of Linux OS, PHP and apache.
And you should have a decent upstream. At least 512KByte (0.5Mbit)

Demo

You can watch the software in action on the following url: http://theyosh.nl/speeltuin/restream. When it is not working, than there are to many people trying to watch or the chosen channel is not valid.
The Demo is _NOT_ always online. Because of the power bill, I have to turn of the Dreambox during the day. So the demo will only work in the evenings!!
