Slow performance

Currently my website has a bit slow performance. This is caused by a new project that I am working on :P

I have restarted my livecounter project and updated the site and code a bit. And what happened.... An Argentina website thought that it was nice to use it. But the site is running a tv show with live video streaming. 24/7 a day. And at top times 1000+ viewers. And they all request the livecounter from my server at home.... :D

How does it work? theyosh Sat, 01/05/2008 - 14:21

How does this work?

Look at the image below. It gives a small impression how everything works. It is based on the original version of M4RTiN for the enigma1 version. But his version gave me a bunch of errors. And the code was badly written. Therefore a new version based om the same principal.

Sourcecode theyosh Sat, 01/05/2008 - 14:01

Here you can download the old PHP code for the server part. This code is based on PHP5 and object oriented. So you need at lease PHP 5 installed on your webserver. Got reports of working systems on both Windows and Linux. Get your version right now.

The new code is now on github: https://github.com/theyosh/DreamboxReStream

Changelog:

version 2.4.7 (21-09-2018)
 * Changed player to Clappr.io player
 * Fixed some EPG information and picons

Stream live television from your dreambox to the internet theyosh Sat, 01/05/2008 - 13:52

Dreambox ReStream is a piece of PHP software that allows you to stream your television through the internet. Basicly the software will change the tv stream to an internet capable stream. So that you can watch television while you are not at home. And you can watch on any kind device.

The software should work with any enigma based television encoder.

Prerequisites

In order to run this software you need:

IPCop reverse webproxy

Finally, IPCop with reverse webproxy. It is possible, but you have to recompile the IPCop system by hand and hack into the perl files of IPCOP. This takes some time.

1. So first make sure you are able to recompile IPCop as explained on http://ipcop.org/index.php?module=pnWikka&tag=IPCop1BuildingHowto .
