Dreambox ReStream is a piece of PHP software that allows you to stream your television through the internet. Basicly the software will change the tv stream to an internet capable stream. So that you can watch television while you are not at home. And you can watch on any kind device.
The software should work with any enigma based television encoder.
Prerequisites
In order to run this software you need:
- An enigma based encoder (Dreambox, AZBox, VU+, etc)
- A webserver with PHP enabled (Linux only)
- VLC
- A decent upstream connection. (Minimal 512 Kbps)
Download
Head over to the source code to download Dreambox ReStream software. If you are planning to run it on a Windows server you should download the Live Image and Virtual Box.
Demo
You can watch the software in action on the following url: http://theyosh.nl/speeltuin/restream. When it is not working, than there are to many people trying to watch or the chosen channel is not valid.
The Demo is _NOT_ always online. Because of the power bill, I have to turn of the Dreambox during the day. So the demo will only work in the evenings!!
