I found an old screenshot of TerrariumPI. The screenshot above is from version 2.5. The date of the screenshot is from july 2017. This GUI was build with AdminLTE admin template design.
Terrarium materials
In order to build the terrarium, I needed a big list of materials. Here you can find an overview of used materials and the costs
- A second hand showcase
- Some wood
- Cork
- Bamboo poles
- Silk (fake) plants
- Real plants
- Bark
- Electronic humidity and thermometer
- 1 heat light
- 1 UVB light
- 1 heating mat

Release 0.3
I found an old screenshot of a very early version of TerrariumPI. The screenshot above is from version 0.3. The date of the screenshot is from august 2014. The gui did had already editing settings, but I think a lot of settings was still in .cfg files. Which was manual editing and restarting the software after every change.
Terrarium automation
As a hobby of mine, I have Madagascar giant day geckos living at my place. I have them for three years now, and I though that they could have a new home. Combined with my interest in 1-wire techniques and Raspberry PI, I started to make a new terrarium that is completely automated.
